Wah, akhirnya masa yang di tunggu-tunggu sudah tiba bagi pemilik Nokia 5800 Express Music. Firmware update version V40.0.005. Antara changelog nya,

Changelog for Firmware V40.0.005:

How to Update the Firmware?
One of the following methods should work for you-
1) Via OTA (Over the Air): Just enter *#0000# on your dial screen, then go to options- check for updates.

2) Via NSU: Connect the phone to the PC and check with Nokia Software Updater application or ovi suite if the update is available.

Note: Though the 5800 has UDP (User Data Prevention) feature, yet its always recommended to backup your phone before updating the firmware.

Hampir dekat sebulan dah aku pakai N5800EM ni. Walaupun dalam N5800EM dibekalkan sekali dengan GPS – Garmin Mobile XT, tapi aku jarang guna pun. Nak guna macam mane, pegi keje naek moto, lepas tu naek LRT pulak, senang cite tak naik pun kete (padahal kete pun x de lagi, lesen pun x ambik lagi, hehe).

Yang aku pelik la, bila on je GPS ni, conection GPRS pun automatik on sekali, jadi kredit aku pun mestila berkurangkan. Cari punya cari kat internet, jumpa la penyelesaiannya. Cuma perlu pergi ke Application > Location > Positioning > Positioning Methods. Enable “Integrated GPS” sahaja dan selesai.

Lepas tu, boleh guna GPS secara percuma sampai bila-bila.

Alhamdulillah, raya tahun ni lagi bermakna dengan N5800EM ni, tetapi bukan nak berbangga atau menunjuk2 di kampung. Rezeki la katekan, ini lah cara bagaimana saya menguruskan kewangan saya – mcm pernah dengar je ayat nie.

Memang dah lama dah nak beli, tapi pada mulanya nak beli Nokia E52, tapi bila pegi tengok depan mata, rasa jatuh hati lak kat N5800EM nie. Lepas zohor terus keluar ke Plaza Sungei Wang, KL. Najmi tunggu kat sana, eh silap, aku yang tunggu dia kat sana. Survey punye survey, jumpa la kat 1 kedai tu. Terus deal dan terus angkat. Kebetulan tengah duk tunggu pekerja kedai tu setting ape yg patot, Danny X-Factor lak muncul tepi aku. Ape lagi terus snap a pic dengan dia, hehe.
